The blotched house gecko, also called the termite hill gecko or Dakota's leaf-toed gecko, is a South Asian gecko. The Sri Lankan form, once treated as the race lankae, is now given species status as Hemidactylus lankae, so Wikipedia's account of this species mostly describes the mainland animal. The head is large and oviform, the forehead concave, the digits free and moderately dilated (Wikipedia, general species account).

Sri Lankan records under this name should be checked against the termite-hill gecko entry. No national Red List category was found.
