The chestnut-tailed starling, also called the grey-headed starling or myna, is a resident or partly migratory starling of wooded habitats in India and Southeast Asia. It is a winter visitor to peninsular India, and the closely related resident white-headed population is now a separate species, the Malabar starling. Two subspecies are recognised, and both are known to perform some movements (Wikipedia, general species account).

It was moved from the genus Sturnus to Sturnia after a 2008 study. The 2012 National Red List gives no status under this name.
