Much of the Indian subcontinent, the Himalayas, Bangladesh and Myanmar

The blue-throated flycatcher is a small flycatcher found in much of the Indian subcontinent, all through the Himalayas, and in the plains and Western Ghats of India in the cold months, extending east into Bangladesh and Myanmar. It resembles Tickell's blue flycatcher but is easily separated by its blue throat, and lives in thicker forest than other flycatchers. Adult males have a blue throat and orange breast with a well-defined white belly and flanks, and females have an olive head and upperparts with a poorly defined creamy-orange chest (Wikipedia, general species account).

The 2012 National Red List gives no status under this name.
