The large-billed crow, formerly called the jungle crow, is a widespread Asian crow. It is very adaptable and can live on a wide range of foods, which lets it colonise new areas and makes it often regarded as a nuisance, especially on islands. It has a large bill, which gave it its scientific name, and can be mistaken for a common raven (Wikipedia, general species account).

Its taxonomy is long, complicated and unresolved: several species may be involved, and the eastern and Indian jungle crows were once combined as the jungle crow. The 2012 list has no entry under this name; it lists the Jungle Crow (Corvus levaillantii) as Least Concern, which probably covered this bird (verify).
